How it works
For each buy, units = Amount ÷ Price. Average entry price = Total spent ÷ Total units.
Example: $100 at 10 (10 units) plus $100 at 5 (20 units) gives $200 ÷ 30 = 6.67, not the simple average of 7.5.

Spending the same amount at a lower price buys more units, so lower prices weigh more in the average.
For precision, add fees to the amount spent on each buy.
This tool averages buys. For partial sells, your average entry price stays the same. Only the remaining units change.
